Maunaantar 2026 Prize Distribution Ceremony Concludes on a Grand Note!
Pune, July 20, 2026: The prize distribution ceremony of Maunaantar 2026, Pune's unique mime act competition jointly organized by Wide Wings Media and Dreams 2 Reality (D2R), was held with great enthusiasm on July 19, 2026, at Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Auditorium, Ghole Road, Pune. This year the event marked the successful completion of the 12th edition of the competition.
The 12th edition of Maunaantar received an overwhelming response from audiences and theatre enthusiasts. The prize distribution ceremony was graced by the writer and director of the upcoming film Daryabhavani, Digpal Lanjekar, and actress Smita Shewale.
They presented the trophies and awards to the winners. Before the prize distribution ceremony, the First and Second Prize-winning teams performed their award-winning mime acts and the audience showed their appreciation with great applause.

This year's participating teams performed compelling mime acts exploring a wide range of social, cultural, and contemporary themes. The performances by the winning teams provided a memorable conclusion to the 12th edition of Maunaantar.
The competition was judged by renowned theatre director Sachin Shinde and Rajesh Deshmukh, Secretary of Maharashtra Cultural Centre. The competition received valuable support from Shankar Nalini Arankalle
Cultural Trust Fund, Pune, Gargi by P. N. Gadgil & Sons, and Barva Skin Therapie. Suneet Karandikar represented the Shankar Nalini Arankalle Cultural Trust Fund at the ceremony, while Rajendra Manohar
and Pournima Manohar represented Wide Wings. The event was hosted by Shantanu Velhal, who conducted the proceedings of the ceremony.
